Hello Dome Tourer(s)!
Welcome to the Spring Dome Home Tour – our 75th semi-annual Natural Spaces Dome Tour. We know from previous tours that you will be rewarded for your time spent on this tour. Previous tour-goers have given this tour “5 stars” out of 5. I know of no other tour in this world allowing people a choice of visiting 20 different domes at 10 different locations!
The homes are open on Saturday only from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Please don’t expect to be let into the tour homes until 9:30 a.m. and please try to respect the 4:30 p.m. ending time.
Advance planning will be your key to having a delightful, hassle-free tour. This is a “self-guided” tour – you drive yourself (you can even talk to yourself). You can start anywhere you like. Use GPS through our overall Google Map to help you plan your trip.
There is a lot to see, but you can get to all 6 dome locations in Minnesota if you plan accordingly! Start at 9:30 am, allow 45 minutes at each dome site, allow 25-30 minutes for travel between each dome (with an extra 25 minutes between Minneapolis and North Branch) and stopping for a fast lunch.
These are all private homes. You are guests and will be welcomed by the owners. (See “Notice” at the bottom) We ask that you respect each owner’s wishes. You may be asked to remove your shoes at a few domes. Some owners may close off certain private rooms or storage areas. You are free to take photos or video and we strongly urge you to do so for your own personal use in remembering these domes.
If you wish to revisit any of these domes, you should contact Natural Spaces Domes. We want you to come away from this tour enriched and informed. Feel free to ask any questions you want. If an owner doesn’t want to answer one of your questions, respect their reasons for doing so.
