This is a 40 ft diameter Monlithic dome “cabin” with approximately 1150 sq feet on 33.78 beautiful acres 6 miles north of Virginia, Minnesota. 20 minutes to great fishing in any direction. Private but close to town. It was built in 2002/2003.
The dome shell was erected by professional Monlithic dome builders, Sutterfield Services out of Rolla, Mo. The interior work was done by owners. The interior has two bedrooms, kitchen/dining/living area, bath, mechanical room and library/den. SunMar composting toilet. Vermont castings woodburning stove. New electric cooking stove and 10 cubic foot Magic Chef fridge. A few furnishings, 18′ extention ladder and a Craftsman riding mower is included. There is a 18′ x 24′ older but straight and solid garage for storage of toys and such. Lots of room to park RV’s and boats. 100 amp electric service.The land is 50% in timber with a small pond 600′ beyond the dome, and an old gravel pit with usable sand and rock. The ground is fertile from a history of an old farmstead. Blueberries, raspberries, deer and other critters seasonally decorate the place. There is no running water but is plumbed for running water with a new sand point well with great water. 1500 gal. holding tank for gray water.
