Beautiful in your home. Kind to the planet.
From the plant floor to your home, Wood-Ultrex® Windows and Doors
reflect a commitment to the environment.
Everyday, Elevate from Marvin Windows and Doors approaches our business with one question, “How can we do it better?” From creating energy efficient windows with a life cycle that far outlasts the competition, to ensuring we lessen our impact in all steps of manufacturing, we provide windows that makes the homes we build part of a greener and brighter future.
Our commitment begins with materials. Ultrex is made with 10% recycled material, and the glass in our products contains 15% – 33% recycled content. All wood components are Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) wood to ensure sound environmental stewardship.
In addition, the Ultrex manufacturing facility is the only pultrusion company to fully comply with the EPAs 1990 Clean Air Act and has been designated a Maximum Achievable Control Technology.

Marvin and Elevate have been and continue to be active participants in community, state and industry initiatives to improve environmental manufacturing practices. We’ve received several awards for excellence in manufacturing from state agencies.
Additionally, Ultrex requires 39% less energy to produce than vinyl and is inert, unlike vinyl/PVC, which can emit harmful environmental gas, pigments, and dyes as it degrades.
Elevate Windows and Doors all come standard with energy saving Low E 2 (#272) insulated glass with Argon gas and durable Ultrex construction, ensuring sustainable, low-maintenance, ENERGY STAR qualified, NFRC and DP Rated performance for the long haul. Low “E” 3 (#366) is available at a small additional charge.
