Rosemary & Mike Ryggs
Siren, Wisconsin
Tornado - Summer 2001

Rosemary and Mike built a 30' diam. high profile Natural Spaces dome on a concrete slab. This site was a heavily wooded property SE of Siren, Wisconsin.

The tornado that hit Siren, Wisconsin, on June 20,2001 had windspeeds of 198-206 mph. It damaged 200 homes and 40 businesses and killed 3 people. It was classified as an F-3.

Although they were not in the heart of the tornado, you can see from the photos, a substantial number of large trees were uprooted or cracked off. However, the amount of damage to their dome was only superficial. Everything remained intact.
