Siding Deterioration at
Ground Level
Wood siding needs to be kept above ground level at least 8". Wood siding must also be painted or stained (including the bottom edge) on a regular basis. Rain and snow are constant.


Bottom of door has deteriorated from too much moisture and too little annual maintenance. Leaves and debris should be kept away from sill and frame.
